Yes, indeed, let's hear it for the graduating class of 1969!! I so remember little plaid dresses my Mom made to start a new year in September along with shoes like saddle oxfords( my favorite!)

Three years ago, I visited my home town in Charlottesville, Va. and went to my original elementary school. I entered the office, introduced myself and they were so sweet to welcome me and had someone take me on a tour of my first and second grade classrooms. There have been some updates, of course, but the room still had the original windows and views out on the play ground. It was wonderful to see how this same school was welcoming students every year and working to help them get an education. Yes, indeed, we are blessed by those friends, teachers, and experiences of our formative years.

You look absolutely adorable as a little girl! In this photo, I can see how you favored your Mom too. You know she was so proud of her little girl!!Winniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11245822429976631256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6442180388527113325.post-6882908411616662182019-06-26T19:05:56.218-07:002019-06-26T19:05:56.218-07:00You are absolutely precious!
