anyone who knows me....is aware of my love for things with tiny little drawers....or as i call them.....cubbies..............this is probably one of oldest, having been added to our home around 25 years ago.......it sat next to an old shed, when i spyed it in the pouring down rain.....my mom in tow on a journey for "the grapevine guys"......leaning ever so slightly against this little old shed.....my heart starting to beat just a little toooooo fast for such a thing.....i fell in love with this item.....it had to be mine.........asking "is it for sale......(reply).....ughhhh i dunno know, i'll have to ask my brother......"............sigh...........i had to wait for a whole week for our return visit............"soooooooooo is it for sale.........yeah, he said $15........."..................................oh my goodness my day was made....my moment.....my mom always thought i lost my mind on that one!..............................it is made from old cigar boxes, wooden spools for knobs, and each drawer has a nail or wing nut on the front......guess what it was used for................................in our home it houses the pencils, pens, envelopes, stamps, notepads,......you get the picture........oh so handy in the kitchen............................................oh did i mention that i love cubbies....................................................................i am blessed !
