can you smell it?....... the scent of freshly mowed hay ....... the sound of the tractor & the mowing machine ...... next best sound ..... the rhythm of the baler ...... ahhhhh the country life ....... time for the cows to come back to the pasture!

I love the smell of fresh cut hay! Here in Florida, farmers can usually get 2-3 cuttings a year. Most of our hay is Bahia and it is made into those huge rolls instead of bales. I like the look of bales the best but I guess it depends on how the farmers can use it.
You know it is summer when the grass and hay fields are tall and the sound of mowers are routine.
