interlude....
that moment between ......... a house full of chatter of an open house ..... a quiet home ..... greenery... lights ... trees ... getting ready for my Christmas Tea .......... a house full of chatter! ................. i am blessed!
A Christmas Tea? How absolutely lovely! There is something magical about simple greenery and white lights mixed with the scents of the holidays. This year, I have a hankering for homemade gingerbread cookies like Mom used to make. I love their spicy crunch with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Yes, this next week will bring the Christmas trees to Florida. I just hope this year is a bit cooler because last year was like summer all month of December and our tree was already turning brown before Christmas day.
