comfort.......

you know what i mean.......those things that you bring out that just give you warmth and comfort.......................like my Mom's favorite coffee cup.....i love this one, and it is the first one i will always choose................................and at cold chilly moments, i will wrap up in the comforter that was on my bed growing up.........made by my great-grandmother, it kept my bed warm for as long as i can remember..............lined with lavender flowered flannel.....tattered and torn.............................it is one of my most comforting possessions........i will not wash it for fear of loosing its smell from my childhood and complete distruction of the fabric....................................so i will gather falling pieces, keep them in my scrapbook.........continue to snuggle with a cup of coffee and wrap myself in comfort......................................................oh, i am so blessed!
