i have been taking grammy time for a few days......now.......it is on to a little rearranging.....spring cleaning......freshening up....................but.........................had to at least take a minute to share my most favorite bowl...................i have many wooden ones......blue stoneware........metal...............................................but the one that touches my heart the most is the "dipper bowl"...........................May's Grocery was the place.......Granny's store.........the place that held so many memories...........years ago, Granny came to me with the bowl in her precious hands.......i so remembered.........................................the ice cream freezer for hand dipped ice cream cones........ummmm i can taste it now..................................the bowl was filled with water, for the dipper to rest in until the next customer requested one dip or two.........the water line is still visible if you look real close..................................oh what a treasure & memory...................................i am blessed!
