Plum Tree.....

in route to our daughter's house is a spot in the road that makes me smile...."Plum Tree".......just the name makes me smile........................takes me back to a simpler time........a time when things weren't so rushed.....when folks gathered at this place and shared the latest news...not in a hurry at all, just letting life happen..........................................and.....................this old house that has recently been listed for sale................................i love her..........wonder what stories she could tell..........................was she loved by many generations.........................was she filled with laughter or much heartache................................oh how i would love to peek in her window....even step inside to explore her bones and feel the quiet history inside those walls........................it makes me sad to think she may be long forgotten............................there are many acres of good farmland surrounding her...................................................so for now, as i pass by.........i will imagine my own little story for her.....................oh if i had my way, i would come to her rescue.................imagination...............................................i am blessed!

I imagine old times too and wonder about the people. I thought I was a strong woman, but know I could not have endured the winters and isolation cause I can hardly stand winter now here in town! The music fits your site. Love it. Let us continue to imagine and dream of those that paved the way before us and appreciate their strength and fortitude.- Constance from Utah.
