covered boxes...

i am actually sweeping and picking up a bit............the girls & families are coming in.........the grands certainly could not play on the family room floor without a good sweep job......after all, i have been crafting & neglecting...............................................so, in the midst of moving objects......when i moved my covered boxes, i wondered if anyone else has these.........they were all made by my grandmothers............Mamaw Hill made the one on top (she was quite the crafter, and very good at it....will show you more things at another time)....and my great~grandmother...Grace Wampler made the bottom two.........................i think they are made from old upholstering fabric, covering old wooden boxes......then a little feather stitch or two......a special place to rest the weary and tired feet!........................................ .......................................................................................i am blessed!
