Walmart memories........
i shared on Facebook today about my Walmart experience this morning ...... not my favorite place but love when i leave with smiles & happy tears ....... when you know you have been at the right place at the right time ..... when God has lined everything up to touch your heart & hopefully someone else's ..... when the young lady in your aisle asks if you know who she is ...i did recognize her from youth group years ago....... small talk is made ..... & ...... suddenly she turns & comes back to throw her arms around you ..... ..................................when your favorite , trendy, older lady, clerk has her lane open .... suddenly we are in deep conversation about memories & i find out she had been in a country music group years ago "diamond" ......... her eyes twinkled with the most amazing "glimmer of diamonds" .......... my day at "the Walmart" .......... PRICELESS MEMORIES!

Like you I dread going there and can't wait to leave. I move that giant cart so fast I almost run people over. But we forget those workers ib the hideous blue vests are just trying to make ends meet. I enjoy talking about cats with one very interesting and intelligent cashier. She noticed my cat food and started telling me about her Maine Coon. He is the love of her life, She lights up when talking about him. She also feeds ferals so we talk about how to best care for them, getting them neutered etc.
What a fantastic encounter you had today with a past friend! You are right in that there is nothing so touching as to experience a real connection that was unplanned. I am happy that your day included such a sweet and meaning reunification. Indeed you were Blessed today! Thank-you for sharing.
