a touch of Christmas....

this little touch of Christmas..............................when i went off to college....my mom took a ceramics class to fill some empty hours..............................this was one of her projects....only displayed once...............................................this is the first year i have displayed it myself.............as i unwrapped each piece.......i pictured her holding each one ................a few tears were shed that evening as i thought of how much she loved me.............how much i miss her..........................................................but oh my goodness.........................i am blessed!

oh this day......

a day of shopping.......giggles.........great food.....................giggles.................best friend.....................giggles................................a flat tire on the side of the road...........................two state police.........two young men with willing hands.................but a patient wonderful husband to the rescue in the cold.............................................back on the road home.....................giggles........hugs good-bye......................................and out my window.....the twinkling of lights....reflecting on an amazing most wonderful day full of love, friendship & giggles................................oh this day...........................................i am blessed!
