the new guy......

well this guy only visited for a short time at openhouse...................sold out, which is a good thing.......then crazy me.............decided to take orders......................that is what is on the agenda for the next few days....................................happy harvest! .......................................................................... i am blessed !

simpleness....

it amazes me somedays ........ how just the simpleness in the ordinary, can make for a wonderful day.......................... mickey mouse clubhouse ............ giggles ............. the swinging of a hand & pointing of a finger along with alot of gibber~gabber that i don't understand ...... but ........ i do know that he is trying to tell me something important ....(for it went on for almost 5 minutes) .... and looking over at the harvest table during lunch, and thinking....... " this is such a simple day, but oh the joy in it!" ........................................................................ ............................................................................... i am blessed !

refuge.....

come & gone.....

well...........................the week has come and gone...........................the stress of getting everything ready, finished, tagged.....all history.......another openhouse come and gone........................but my heart is so full............................full of gratitude to mr. prairie blue...(above and beyond, this man!).......................to all of you for lifting me up & keeping me encouraged all week.............to my linda for starting off my entire week with sweet tea............to all old friends and new that stopped by........................and my two precious girls, that always call the morning of and wish me luck, encourage me & send me their love........................ ........................i am one very blessed woman.................thank you all !

tea & punkins....

well..........................it is "Do It Day"...............my last day to get the bigger things finished before openhouse........................ the next three days are set aside to ready the shop & the house...(friends tour the house too!)........................................ so, in the midst of the morning craziness of getting all set up for the "system"....up drives my friend Linda.................walking up to me with her sweet smile of friendship & McDonald's sweet tea....................................ahhhh.....what more could a gal want................cool weather.............the voice, hug & smile of a friend......and sweet tea ! ..................................................................... i am blessed !

heading to the punkin' patch....

trying to wind a few things up around here........................i am trying to head on down to the punkin' patch..........a little stain.....a little paint...............a little "miracle grow" !......................till next time, maybe i will see you pickin' a punkin' !............................................. ................................................................... i am blessed !

oh what a day....!

my days are dwindling for accomplishing anything for the shop................today's plan..............up early.....did that................................head out to the garage to start on some parched corn bowl filler........um' wait just a minute, i need to run to the post office......................................okay, back home...............................now, head to the garage, uh....back and forth about ten times...........okay, mix up the goods for the parched corn bowl filler...................okay, mix it in a styrofoam cup....(uh first mistake)...................go outside, mix up a batch......................come back in, ......cup totally disintegrated............................oil & alcohol dripped all over my WOOD floor........UGH!......what was i thinking.........................mr. prairie blue "oh, don't beat yourself up over it!".....bless his heart
well..............................i am, i did, and i will................................on top of that the old alergy, sinus infection thing has popped up, and had to sit at the DR.
