Jennifer......this is for you...........................here are a few more shots of my craft room...(you can see more on my picturetrail).........................................................my room is very tiny......my solution is lots of things with drawers and cubbies...................this drawer cabinet belonged to our neighbor....Mr. Wubben.......he passed shortly after we moved here, but i am honored to own his piece........................i keep some scrapping supplies as well as sewing supplies here.......the lamp belonged to my Mamaw Hill....the shade was a little tattered so I topped it with an old crocheted collar.....(my Mom saved this lamp and collected old crochet work).......i so try to include alot of my sentimental pieces in this room to give me comfort.......................on the floor are two old hooked rugs from a neighbor lady we used to buy fresh milk from when we moved here...(oh those were the days)...............she had a house full of hooked rugs, but at the auction, i could only afford the not so perfect ones...okay with me..........isn't it ironic, that i now hook rugs....
this is just a stack of old sewing machine drawers......alot of them are attached by groups of two, occasionally three.......so i have just stacked on top of one another and topped them with an old cutting boad.........i just wrap all my ribbons and group them by color in old canning jars..........
my work table is a very old table top without legs......i covered it with brown craft paper and topped with heavy plastic.......it sits on top of two file cabinets...(so there is storage underneath).....i then skirted it with gathered homespun............i use alot of advertising tins to hold supplies..........i have two old chocolate boxes and two chocolate tins.....old potato chip can...cracker.....marshmallow..............................well, you get the picture........
the window treatment is my mom's pieces of old lace hung from old yard sticks........i no longer keep my wool in this room.....loved looking at it in here, but it outgrew the room.........the old thread cabinet was my mom's, and logically enough...i keep my thread here.............
these are just a few shots & tips.......i use lots of tiny ...little things, so the drawer ...cubbie system works well for me.........................................................................i am blessed !

I love your room, it is fantastic! It looks like it has evolved through a family for years, like it has a life of its own! The lace and lamp remind me of my own Momma. Thanks for the glimpse in!

That has to be one of the most inspiring and comforting rooms I've seen in a long, long, time. PLEASE come make sense of a room in my house!! I love all the "littles...." I'm forever picking up boxes, and tins, and such....I have a tiny house all over and storage is always my nemesis...so I covet those....But you bring them all together so wonderfully and beautifully....Thanks for the peek! Have a great week! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
What a great crafting area. I like all your drawers stacked on top of each other. And your dress form. She's very cute!
